When: Saturday, 9/2 and Sunday, 9/3; 9 am to 12 pm, both days.

Meeting point: mailboxes at Sunrise Mt Rd and Sunset Dr Hello Neighbors,

SMMHOA is planning 2 workdays to address the fire safety concerns on Sunrise Mountain Road. We will focus on clearing the roadside along the narrowest parts of the road and any place where vegetation is hanging overhead.

You can help prepare by surveying the sides of the road along your property and taking note of anything that needs attention.

We will provide refreshments and snacks and meet for 9-12 on each of those days.

Bring whatever equipment you have: chainsaws, clippers, etc. Even if you are unable to do the physical labor, everyone can help in some way:

• Notifying and reminding neighbors
• Helping with snacks and water for workers.
• Hauling debris if needed.
• Organizing chipping
• Notifying the crew of hazards
